About Coach Miele

Coach Miele has shared his passion for teaching and learning over the past 6 years as a Physical Education Teacher. He started his teaching career at SUNY Cortland graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Education and a Concentration in Adapted Physical Education.  After Graduation, Coach Miele started his teaching career in the Mount Vernon City School District. He learned so many valuable tools and experiences that helped him develop many new teaching skills that he still uses today. In 2017, Coach Miele became a tenured teacher while teaching at Holmes Elementary School. After an amazing 4 years in the Mount Vernon City School District, he continued his career in the Mamaroneck Union Free School District as a Physical Education Teacher at Mamaroneck Avenue and after four years found his home at Concord Road School in Ardsley, NY.

Coach Miele has coached all levels of sports. He started his coaching career at Fox Lane High School as the Varsity Ice Hockey Head Coach at the age of 21. He continued his coaching career throughout many different schools such as Westlake Middle School, New Rochelle High School, and now at Mamaroneck High School. He has served as the the Head Coach of the Junior Varsity Girls Soccer team and Assistant Coach of the Junior Varsity Ice Hockey team and currently holds the position of Assistant Coach of the Varsity Ice Hockey and Varsity Girls Lacrosse team .

Through his engaging activities, teaching style, and having presented at both State and National conferences, Coach Miele's passion and love for Physical Education and physical activity goes unmeasured. He understands the Social-Emotional, Health, Cognitive and Physical benefits it provides and has made it his life mission to share this with as many people as he can.
